পুরীর জগন্নাথ মন্দিরের রহস্য (The Mystery of Jagannath Temple, Puri)

পুরীর জগন্নাথ মন্দির হলো হিন্দুদের সবচেয়ে প্রাচীন এবং সবচেয়ে পবিত্র মন্দিরগুলির মধ্যে অন্যতম|  প্রতি বছর রথযাত্রার সময় এখানে লক্ষ লক্ষ লোকের সমাগম হয়|  এই মন্দিরের পূজিত জগন্নাথদেবের দর্শন করতে সারাবছরই এখানে জনসমাগম ঘটে|  এই বিশাল মন্দির কে নিয়ে এমন বহু ঘটনা আছে যার ব্যাখ্যা আজ পর্যন্ত কেউ করতে পারেননি|  আসুন জেনে নেয়া যাক জগন্নাথদেবের মন্দিরের এমনই কিছু অমীমাংসিত ঘটনা সম্পর্কে|  

১) মন্দিরের মাথায় থাকা পতাকাটি সর্বদা হাওয়ার বিপরীত দিকে ওড়ে|

২) গোটা পুরীতে যেখানেই আপনি থাকবেন সর্বদাই দেখবেন মন্দিরের উপরের সুদর্শন চক্রটির মুখ আপনার দিকে হয়ে রয়েছে|

৩) মন্দিরের উপর দিয়ে কোনো এরোপ্লেন বা পাখি উড়তে পারে না|

৪) মন্দিরের প্রধান গম্বুজটির কোনো ছায়া পড়েনা|

৫) এই মন্দিরের ভোগঘরে (রান্নাঘর) প্রতি বছর একই পরিমাণ রান্না করা হয় অথচ কখনো এখানকার খাবারের অভাব পরেনা বা কোনো খাবার নষ্ট হয়না|

৬) এখানে উনুনের উপর পর পর ৭টি হাঁড়ি সাজিয়ে রান্না করা হয়|  অর্থাৎ উনুনের উপর একটি হাঁড়ি চাপানো হলো, সেই হাঁড়ির উপর একটি হাঁড়ি, এভাবে ৭টি হাঁড়ি সাজানো হয়|  রান্না হবার সময় সবচেয়ে উপরের হাঁড়িটির রান্না সবচেয়ে প্রথমে হয় ও সবচেয়ে নিচের হাঁড়িটির রান্না সবচেয়ে শেষে হয়|

India is a land of culture. There is a lot of architectures, monuments and temples are there. Today we will know about a temple which is in Puri. Puri is a city which is one of the most culturally rich city of Odisha. The temple is called Jagannathdeb's Temple. It is one of the oldest and most sacred temples of the Hindus. Millions of people gather each year during the Rathyatra. Every year a lot of  hindu philgrimage comes here for the visit of Jagannatha Deva, the worshiper of this temple. There is some mysteries around this great temple. Those mysteries are unsolved till today. But the great thing is these mysteries are open to all. Everyone can see these mysteries if he/she travels to Puri. Lets take a look on those thousand years old mysteries.

1) The flag always flaps in a direction opposite to the direction which the wind is blowing.

2) Gaze from any place in Puri, you will always find Sudarshan (chakra at the top of the temple)
facing you.

3) Birds or planes do not fly above the temple.

4) The quantity of cooked food remains same through the entire year. The same 'Prasad' can feed whatever the number of devotees -a thousand or a million. It never gets wasted.

5) The shadow of the main dome is invisible at any time of day.

6) In the temple kitchen, seven pots are kept on top of each other and cooked on firewood. In this process, the contents of the top pot get cooked first. The pot kept in the bottom cooked at last.
